Rock Solid Ness visit Tarbert

We were very pleased to have the Rock Solid Youth club from Ness call in for a short time today before they left for home again.  The Rock Solid crew had been staying in Scaladale outdoor centre for the weekend and had a great time and especially enjoying the ‘fresh’ spring weather in Harris.  They took part in gorge scrambling  , hill walking and archery among other things, and called in to Tarbert for a pizza before heading back tired and happy to Ness.

The Rock Solid youth group is run by a group of volunteers from Cross Ness Church of Scotland , and meets on Friday nights during autumn and winter. There are normally about 20 children in attendance, some with no church affiliation. They meet in Spors Nis for  lots fun and energetic activities and use there Material produced by Youth for Christ.  You can see a short video clip of  a previous trip to Lochmaddy Outdoor centre here.
